Geoff Hare is a consultant with “Change Services.Org”.
He has over 35 years’ experience in education; initially as a secondary school teacher, Middle Manager, and latterly moving into Senior Leadership as Director of Finance, School Improvement Officer, and Change Manager with responsibility for Workforce Reform, Leadership Training and Professional Development.
He gained experience in the Financial Services Industry (Life Assurance, Lending, Pensions and Investment, with Albany Life and Canada Life), as well as practical work in Property Development and House Renovation. (In Berlin in August 2012 he beat “Superman” in a “Nail Hammering Competition”… true!!)
As well as his teaching qualifications, he holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Manchester; reading Sports Psychology, the History of Sport and Comparative Education, and a D.A.S.E. in Educational Psychology and Research Methods. His “Masters” dissertation was later published by BAALPE in “The Bulletin of Physical Education” as “Show More Talk Less”; a comparison of orthodox and an alternative teaching method, resulting in a positively significant piece of empirical research conducted by the author.
Working as Change Manager implementing Teacher Workforce Reform, (“remodelling” the school workforce) gave him the experience necessary to consult with others outside education, establish links with a highly respected “business mentor” and establish a wide network of contacts, enhancing his already well developed inter-personal and communication skills.
Change management consultancy is the main role for “Change Services.Org”, working with private clients, individuals and companies, facilitating business transformation and improvement.
